Hi, I’m Richie, founder of FoCo French!
As a CSU alum who lived and earned a Master's degree in France (thanks to my French wife), I bring a real-world immersion approach to learning. I specialize in helping you skip the textbooks and quickly become conversational and confident for travel, work, or fun.

1-on-1 French Lessons

Your French, Your Way. Personalized 1-on-1 Coaching to Build Real Conversational Confidence.

Pricing:
- Single Lesson: $60/hr
- 5 Lesson Pack: $250 (Saves $10 per lesson)

What to Expect:
- A Personal French Plan: We'll define your goals and build a program tailored just for you.
- Real Conversation: My specialty is conversational French, which means you'll be speaking a lot, right from the first lesson.
- Confident Communication: We'll work on the psychology of language learning to help you overcome nervousness and "blocking."
- A Routine for Life: You'll learn how to integrate French into your daily life so you can continue to progress on your own.

Where: Online via Google Meet or in-person anywhere in Fort Collins.

FoCo French Club

A laid-back meet-up 100% in French! For intermediate/advanced learners to move beyond grammar and build conversational fluency with Richie.

    What to Expect:
    - 120 minutes of complete French immersion.
    - No slides, no textbooks, just papotage.
    - Opportunity to purchase curated French wines from our host, The Neighbor.

    Schedule & Details:
    - When: The first Wednesday of every month, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
    - Where: In Person @ The Neighbor (144 S Mason St, Fort Collins)
    - Level: Intermediate/Advanced French level strongly recommended.

    Beginner Classes

    We're not currently offering a class for people who are brand new to French. However, we would like to!

    Intermediate Class Pilot

    Pricing:
    $120 for 4 weeks, with a single 1h class per week.

    What to expect:Week 1 (June 4) — Past tenses through real storytelling
    Week 2 (June 11) — Slang, elisions, and shortcuts native speakers actually use
    Week 3 (June 18) — Object pronouns to make your French flow
    Week 4 (June 25) — Pronunciation workshop and student-led conversation

    Payment: Lessons are payable by check, cash, PayPal or Venmo.
    Cancellations: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or schedule changes to avoid being charged for the lesson.
    No-Shows: Lessons are non-refundable for no-shows.
    Lesson Packages: Packages are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase and are non-refundable.
